Tune-Up & Maintenance
What's Incuded?

Explore what's included in our tune-ups for furnaces, heat pumps, A/C, and ductless mini-splits. We ensure your system runs efficiently, safely, and reliably year-round.

Furnace Tune-Ups Include:

> Check and replace air filter:  1" replacement air filters are included. Larger media filters are available and sold seperately.

> Test the Thermostat:  Verifies accurate temperature readings and proper system communication.

> Inspect Heat Exchanger:  Checks for cracks or damage to prevent carbon monoxide leaks.

> Lubricate Moving Parts:  Reduces friction in components like the blower motor for smoother operation.

> Check Electrical Connections:  Tightens and tests connections to avoid shorts or malfunctions.

> Test Safety Controls:  Ensures proper functioning of safety mechanisms, such as the limit switch.

> Inspect and Clean Blower Components:  Improves airflow and system efficiency.

> Check Ignition System:  Verifies the ignition process for reliable and safe operation.

> Measure Gas Pressure and Combustion Efficiency:  Ensures the furnace operates within manufacturer specifications for performance and safety.

Full System Tune-Ups Include:

> Everything Included in Furnace Service +

> Inspect and Clean Coils:  Removes dirt and debris from the evaporator and condenser coils to improve efficiency.

> Check Refrigerant Levels:  Ensures the system has the proper refrigerant charge for optimal performance.

> Check and Clear Drain Lines:  Removes blockages to prevent water damage and maintain efficient condensation drainage.

> Inspect and Test the Reversing Valve:  (If applicable.) Ensures proper switching between heating and cooling modes.

> Test Fan Blades and Motor:  Ensures the fan operates smoothly and efficiently without damage or imbalance.

Mini-Split Maintenances Include:

> Inspect and Clean Air Filters:  Removes dirt and dust to improve airflow, efficiency, and indoor air quality.

> Clean Indoor and Outdoor Coils:  Enhances heat exchange efficiency by removing buildup on the evaporator and condenser coils.

> Check and Clear Drain Lines:  Ensures proper drainage to prevent water leaks and mold growth.

> Inspect Refrigerant Levels:  Verifies the correct charge to maintain optimal cooling and heating performance.

> Inspect and Test Electrical Components:

Checks connections, wiring, and circuits to ensure safe and reliable operation.

> Test Thermostat and Remote Control:

Confirms accurate temperature settings and proper communication with the system.

> Examine Blower Wheel and Fans:  Cleans and inspects the blower wheel and fan blades to maintain smooth airflow and prevent imbalances.
